No apologies Petran.

The Suren-Roman match surely was the most difficult and less equilized for us.
The score says you played it really well till the end!

Petran, you got the short end of the stick(or should I say, were handed :P ) and you did good.
Better than could be expected given the match up.

Was a good game. Actually a fair number of those points were BGs driven off instead of slaughtered and broken. The enemy Cats were deadly. I didn't post any boasdtings early for a reason!! :wink:

The battle is reaching its climax and now also my left flank is fully engaged with the HC charging the opposite troopers with the aid of some HF units.
In the meanwhile the centre is wavering though still holding with its best units and the score is:

I think the score is Davouthojo 18/58 ianiow 28/60 or something like that. I am crushing his left flank as his lancers have tended to 'implode' on impact. He is getting the better of the pike battle but we both have plenty of reserves cueing up to fill the gaps.

Morbio, I think it's safe to assume you are winning your game.
To speed things up you could make the toss for home teams in the next round and we can start to make our choice of armies right away :D

Ptolemaic Civil War update

Apologies for the delay folks - schedules and time difference have made this a slow game.

Currently not looking good for us - ian is on 19/60, I am 25/58.

Solid line of pikes, plugging gaps when they go with lighter units, my left flank is crumbling, ian's left flank is not looking so good.

I was too careless with my lights...part of the contributing factor to the difference in scores.

No strategy in it with identical armies, and neither of us got much advantage in manoevering.

Down to dice and tactics - and ian is currently winning at both!

We will try to finish as soon as possible so as not to hold things up
