Hi,
Just returning from Lisbon.
Spain finished at 26 not 27.
Italy 22 I think.
Barbarians 2 : 3

My first time at the ITC and just wanted to post my thanks to our hosts and organisers for a great weekend.
I had 4 very enjoyable games but failed to deliver for Team GB - all of my 4 games were draws - just 1 win by me would have put us joint top with Spain.
Congratulations to Ian Stewart & Dave Ruddock who were top in their groups.
And a special mention for Bill McCampbell who was top in my group and the first person to beat my Ottomans at a competition for over 2 years! Well done!
I probably won't get invited back after my poor performance but if I get the opportunity I'd love to be there again next year.
Cheers,

Well unless Mr McCampbell plays in all your remaining competitions this year, and you will probably need to play about 10 more, there will be no stopping you.

Pete, its like losing the cup final - it does not effect your league position - top of the league and you get asked first if you would like to go. Keep being in the top 4 of the UK rankings and you're safe for an invite to the ITC.

In all fairness to Pete, I did roll up two times (count em 2!) on my charging pike, while he rolled down twice on his evading Timurids. Resulting in two Timurid BGs getting swiss pike in the bum.
It was a very enjoyable game and Pete was very gracious.
Thanks of course to the Portugal organizers for a very nice event. I hope to return.
