I think the effort for a campaign is too high, because a lot has to be changed here, I have already done it with Iran or the UN as a nation. That's how I know.

If the player can live with the fact that Iran has a wrong flag for the cities and villages in the campaign, but the units have the right insignia, you could create a campaign about the IRAQ-IRAN war.
And the units would almost all be available.

Yes, that usually catches my eye, and it just doesn't fit. It's like bad graffiti on a freshly painted house facade.

That works too, especially since I can narrow down the time when they are available as a bonus. Good idea, thumbs up.
Just thinking out loud:
In original PzC and Akkula's Soviet Storm there were "elite" units ("Guards" in latter case) - fully upgradeable but non-purchasable units with better stats, given to player randomly within the pool of allowed "elite" units count. Upgrade was possible, so, say, Guards T-34 was relevant until the end of the campaign with T-34-85/IS/IS-2 gradually getting available;
Also, in Soviet Storm and Uhu's Italian campaign there were unique reward units (usually "captured" or "prototype") - added as regular core for fulfilling certain scenario conditions, often hidden. But then again you cannot buy them, just upgrade into something else within the class.
Both options are viable to my liking. I'm not sure which way is easier, but it's worth considering to avoid elites spam, I suppose.

That's no problem, because additional units appear in almost every one of my campaigns, usually a hero unit with special abilities. That's easy to do. I will use the special units here as a bonus with a time frame, so you can't get an elite unit in every mission. These and the additional hero units should be enough variety.

For example, he only appears in one mission.

I only modeled it for this campaign and mission, but you could also use this unit for future projects.

Amin's Palace was taken by the Soviet forces intended to capture the palace and neutralize the security brigade, were: the Grom (Alpha) group - 24 people, the Zenit (KUOS) group - 30 people, the "Muslim" battalion - 520 people, the 9th parachute-landing company (9th company of the 345th separate guards parachute-landing regiment) - 100 people.
If the company gains momentum, maybe you will add another elite unit of the GSN "Vympel". to the 40th combined arms army, this is the
OSPN "Zenit", and then the OSPN "Cascade" became the basis for the creation in 1981 of a special unit of the PGU KGB USSR - GSN "Vympel".

Oooh very nice, but the problem with a campaign is the lack of nations in the main mod. Maybe you and Akkula can find a solution and add more nations to the Modern Conflicts mod, for example Iran, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Afghanistan and so on... That would be nice. There are a lot of nations in Pak-Mod but if there is a limit I don't know how to get around it.

Modern Conflicts nation tally stands at 71 based on latest string.ini available to me. Don't know if there's hardcoded limit, but I believe Akkula mentioned some troubles with sides/nations on one on these MdC-related topics.
Though, personally I see no big problem merging USSR/Russia units for example. Just incorporate small flag to unit model and it will be fine and shine solution. Same applies to military branches. I love these Navy/Para/Air Force icons btw!

"And in your mod it will be possible to hunt caravans with weapons from Pakistan as well as whether there will be riders and attack on Soviet convoys with cargo ?"
I've already thought about Afghan cavalry and, of course, raids on Russian convoys. But I'm still at the very beginning and have only reached mission 3, so there's still a lot to do in terms of exact details and procedures.
Furthermore, I'm not going to include every special unit, otherwise the campaign will seem overloaded. Especially as I don't yet know how many missions it will contain. The ALFA team, the paratroopers and GRU should be enough.
Of course, every player has the option of renaming them in the game.

I myself have sacrificed other nations to make it easier for me to make it work. But then it's no longer compatible with the original MC and wouldn't work.
Yeah and for me it's not soooo bad if the Mujahideen have an IS flag in the campaign, it was still the best solution of all I think.

And what about the Taliban heroically fighting ISIS?

Yes, I forgot that you can do this.
Interesting, the theme of the Afghan war is interesting, and the map with new units will look good, I wish the Order of the Red Star and the Medal for Courage to be awarded to my pumped up units of the USSR combat core units, because I understand there will be more than three missions

Yes, I know, I'll give him another one. But I'll leave the other units as they are now, otherwise I'll just have to change too much for this mission.

I have to admit that I didn't expect this campaign to be so well received when I first thought of it, so I'll have to make it more of a priority in my work, but I can't say when it will be finished. Maybe Akkula will be a bit quicker with his mod and give me some breathing space.

During testing, my Russian recruits have already received their first awards and one hero has particularly distinguished himself with special attack strength. It is running.
