While playing the first mission I realised that many unit pictures are missing and also the sound of the nationalist artillery is missing. Now I'm not sure, is my pak-mod faulty or is it really missing in the original. Anyway, I have to do a lot to get the player the sound and also some unit pictures. I will not be able to provide everything, because there are a lot of pictures that are not visible in my game.plm.pngjhzu.pngikm.png
The first air ram in World War 2 was carried out not by a Soviet pilot, as is commonly believed, but by a Polish pilot. This ram was performed on 1 September 1939 by Lieutenant Colonel Leopold Pamula, deputy commander of the Interceptor Brigade covering Warsaw. Having shot down 2 bombers in a battle with superior enemy forces, he went on his damaged aircraft to ram one of the 3 Messerschmitt-109 fighters attacking it. Having destroyed the enemy, Pamula escaped by parachute and landed safely in the location of his troops.

Unfortunately the mod pack doesn't have some documentary photos of units ) For example, I'm currently playing Polish Company by Niko and there for example the Polish PZL .P.24 C fighter plane doesn't have an image in the purchase options ) Still it's good when such real photos are available, because they help to visualise how some armament looked like in reality ))))

AI pictures are good for narrative and pop up pictures describing events or tasks but unit base I prefer to have pictures of real units !

I'll see what I can do, maybe I'll deliver the real pictures in a package later. For now I'll continue working on the campaign itself. I will add new units for the nationalists, for example the Falange militia, Cazadores de Caballería or the Legion Viriato from Portugal.
I remember the big-unit used to look like this, we've become spoilt.

My friend, some of the units look like this, which gives at least some idea of this technique. The other half of the units already have documentary photos, but there are still some units that are simply not shown in any form )))

Ghost unit: I'll have a look at it. I'll get back to you.
It would be better to contact Phcas about the big-unit pictures.

It's all there. I downloaded Iwo-Jima and added the IwoJima folder as usual under Documents.....mods.

It almost looks like only the graphic of this unit is missing, but why?
Can you open your folder C:\Users\name\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\mods\IwoJima\Graphics\Units and make a screen? It should look like mine.

The mode switch works. Just tried it out.
Victory conditions: Capture all victory squares and all! destroy MG nests.

And understandably, I didn't destroy a couple of dzots, considering it not that important, although my engineers are slow and can't get through some areas....

I have one more hint. Try to take the USS Texas with you into the next mission by placing it on the EXIT space before the end of the current mission. You can then sell it later once it can no longer be used in the final scenarios.

Okay, I'll do that, since the author himself allows me to slack off like that )))

Both are visible on your screen, just like mine. Really strange. I can switch from armour to artillery and back again without the ghost appearing. Then maybe you're missing a graphic in the main mod, because I have to link the ‘new’ units I install to a unit from the main mod, otherwise the sound doesn't work. Sell the unit and buy another one.

Well, that at least gives me the opportunity to look at the picture of defeat that I created with the help of the AI.

Even in shopping mode, this unit is not displayed!

Yes, this trick with the ship and aircraft carrier works ) They're in storage for now, but if I don't have enough prestige, I'll sell them ))) Otherwise, it's a cool mission, the samurai are putting up fierce resistance.... Yes, I replaced the ghost unit with a flamethrower tank )

You'll still need the Texas for now, I've given it a longer range so it can provide fire support for your marines.

I, on the other hand, like the AI images more and more. The AI is learning and so am I.
It's difficult and often tedious to find new images that relate to a specific situation or scene, e.g. Japanese banzai attack with frontal perspective, and I also have to colour them in, which takes a lot of time. It's not necessarily faster or easier with AI, but I really enjoy it.
