• Map type:
  • Defender selects map type if attacker is in tile I to III, with attacker selecting if in V to VII.
  • In tile IV, map type is agreed between attacker and defender, with fallback map type used if no agreement can be made.
  • Map is selected from among the ones below, depending on attacker's track (the first type being the fallback for each track):
    • Red track: North European Plain, North European Agricultural, Steppe.
    • Purple track: Mediterranean Plain, Mediterranean Agricultural, Mediterranean Mountains.
    • Yellow track: Mediterranean Plain, Mediterranean Agricultural, Desert.
    • Blue track: Mediterranean Plain, Mediterranean Agricultural, Mediterranean Mountains.

You set the game up as Medium (32x32) and 1200 FP: should be Large (40x32) and 1600 FP.

So I've created another game now for you to pick up, with same password (heidi).

Stew101's Gepids defeat Indibil's Ostrogoths.

Score 11% to 41% respectively.

The Gepid lancers sheltered behind their warbands, whilst their more numerous light archers made a nuisance of themselves, shooting up the Ostrogoth lancers and lights.
The Ostrogoths closed on the enemy lights and then attempted to charge them down.
Unfortunately a couple of bad pursuit routes, left some Ostrogothic lancers facing frontal and flank charges from Gepid lancers.
The gaps that opened let the Gepids penetrate and find more vulnerable flanks.
Meanwhile the Ostrogothic lancers met only limited success in their charges against the Gepid warbands, who held long enough for their own lancers to win the game.

heidpie byzants defeated Kronnen vandals

field restribed by mountains and with a lake in the middle, yet very little rough terrain for archers . so the Byzants dismounted their lancers in two lnes either side of the lake, and sent foot and horse skimiershers forward against the vandal mounted only host, looming on the skyline as if from Lord of the Rings
the Vandals ran down all the light archers but in doing so they become entangled in the Biz foot lancers esp on the left, and were surrounded and killed. on the right the light horse had more room and eventually took down two vandals units on teir own, while the foot lancers held the line..... at the end several Byz foot did run from repeated charges but was too late
score was 61-38
