Western Conference: Division B, Pod D, LindsayCole with Rome 105-25 BC with Galatian allies, Defeated, Fluidwill with Rome 199-106BC, score: 60+47=107-19=88. The ground was fairly open farmland with some woods and rolling hills on the left. Both armies formed in line and began to skirmish. My force held a tight position in the center, while the left had a mix of irregular infantry, light units and my light cav. After some initial success in skirmishes on the left the enemy army moved forward. A small farm in the center of the map became the epicenter of the battle to come. A hard fought affair that saw the farm change hands several times. My intal attack payed off big as my best units pounded his line. My cav on the left and light units kept his units from reinforcing the battle for the farm and that's how it ended. Used most of the turns in the match, some great skirmishes through the whole fight. The score does not do my opponent justice. A hard fought affair for sure.
