PS: the background image does not match at all
I did not provide a background image for this DLC or a link to one. It apparently is just an image that is in the image folder on the main campaign file and pops up.
You can delete it if you want. Once we get more control over art work I plan to go back to all the DLC's and add more stuff. The only art that I am putting in is on the scenario choice screens for now.

This is incredible!
I've played so far half 1939 and the preludes.
I like it very much. The final mission on preludes was quite difficult.

BTW - Why the Grand Campaigns 1939-1945 have no background path and pic ? It should work yet !

At first the link was missing an updated excel file to list GC1942 even though the GC1942 files were there. That was fixed yesterday and the link has all the correct files in it including the updated excel file. I just checked again to be sure and they are still there.

The person who does the art is working on another project. When I get a chance I will put in some background pics. Just have so much time.

3 dead heroes in the prelude campaign
(and i havent finished the last map completly, so more could die)
Seems the new system made hereoes the new rookies, because they die first. Seriously hope they change it to: heroes only die when the whole unit dies system. Or even better: When the unit dies, the hero has a chance to survive. Or the best way to solve the problem: make it configurable to the players taste.
Btw: great work on 42.

Grand Campaign 1942 - Scenario Storming Stalingrad - when existing from scenario in end of round 24 game gives victory summary screen and starts to load next scenario and crashes with below notification from unreal engine
Playing vanilla game, no mods, just the grand campaign
Thank you for possible tips to short this out - looking forward to play rest

I still can not find an excel file in the unziped download. Date from fileserver is 2021-07-18 15:33.
The scenarios are in the correct folder but no 1942 campaign is showing up in the main menue...
Why is the version number still the 1.7?

Sorry that you are still not able to get this working. The excel file is in the download in the data folder. It is updated. I am sure that not changing the version is just an over site. It is not my drop box so I cannot update that. Here is the excel file if that helps at all. Make sure you have enabled the mod correctly if not done so.

We will complete the whole series of DLC's in the campaign. For now we will complete the East first. There is nothing within PC2 that I know of that prevents us from doing it as it was. It also looks like we will have GC1943 East before there is AO1943 East.

In the "Storming Stalingrad" scenario, the Russians fly La-7 fighters. This aircraft appeared at the front only in 1944.

Thanks for the update. They were supposed to be La-5s. Will fix and change.
