Having established their spears on a hill and goading a German/French uphill attack with lots of missiles the Germans and Poles then tried to throw the advantage away. As with Harald's eye full of arrow, incredibly, three very careless Generals disrupted several hill top units with their demise. Fortunately the German and French cavalry that exploited this then carefully avoided flank charges and pursued into the sunset throwing their advantage away in turn. Meanwhile the remaining German and Polish units ground out a win from their remaining hilltop advantage. Very much a roller coaster game of chance and mischance.

Division A

The Crusaders chose the bloody big hammer from their box of tools and immediately wheeled and began advancing down the plain on the Danish left. In response I sent my true krossmenn forward, the heavies angling to hold the crest in case the enemy should try it and our Baltic foot made directly for the wood in search of the missing compulsory foot.

The Danes steadily marched forward, forward. The Crusader Turcopoles on the plain briefly attempted to obstruct our advance at the crest line but thought better of it after receiving a few volleys while the Crusader Knights milled about suffering some discomfort from skirmishers.

Our Baltic allies finally reached the wood and found it full of crossbowmen and Maronites, who were quickly dispersed, while the remainder of the armies converged for the final scrum.
