Map allowed the Alans to be split into two halves and then boxed into terrain cul de sacs.

Germans and Poles arrived infantry heavy.
This time the Abbasid foot were defeated earlier and had all gone home by mid battle. This was followed by a long trudge by German infantry and Polish archers to finally chase down enough Ghilman and Horse Archers before night fall.

A tough match which could have gone either way for much of it

Morat Visigoths 419-621 with Byzantine (571-8) defeats carpenkm Dacian 89 - 106 with Sarmatian: 68-47

Absolutely terrific scrap. Early manoeuvring saw the Visigoths trying to bring their right flank to bear while delaying combat with the numerous Dacian forces on the left. Lots of archery and light forces quickly fragmented a number of Visigoth units, but they just managed to get to safety.

The main clash saw Visigoth horse make inroads on the right, while the Dacians pulverised the centre. In the end the Visigoth horse was just (just) able to prevail: but it was very close throughout.
