Hi Akkula,
Thx for Turkish units in the future. But I fully understand your reasons.
My mistake it was Georgia and not UK. The flag sometimes look similar for units in game.
Hello, happy New Year! You were almost right , these states like Ukraine and Georgia have been wanting to join NATO for a long time ! At least their governments want it ! And Turkey should be added , as a member of Nato , it will have to fight with the Russian Federation ) But that 's when our esteemed author will have time )

Hi Akkula,
Ukraine and Georgia are not part of NATO, Turkey well.
You have already answered about Turkey.
If you wanted a fictionnal scenario fine, but Georgia and Urkraine should have been "neutral" no ?
Anyway I like your scenario the way it is designed.
Just one remark: there is no fighter in Georgia, just a bomber and an helicopter, so Russian fighter destroy quite easily Georgian air force.
I started the NATO standalone scenario at leutnant level and saw that most of AI units are stronger (strength from 12 to 15, sometimes higher), so that the capture of Kaliningrad is quite hard.
I shall restart it a easiest level (sergeant) to discover the scenario at ease.
Thx again for your fantastic work!

The Georgian army is very battered after the war 08.08..2008, so you can only dream about the fleet and cool aviation or hope that sponsors and NATO will throw up)

I agree that the Georgian military has been greatly devastated by the 2008 defeat, and that even at its height it was never too competitive in a full conventional war with Russia and its allies, but even in the 2008 War there really isn't uch in the way of any (even inferior) aircraft. And while the lore behind the "European Great War" scenario is a surprise escalation for both sides meaning no buildup for the Georgians, when war is actually ongoing and if Georgia has either not been conquered or is liberated, I would imagine NATO would be rather interested in building it up to some degree, if only for i to play a local role in the Caucasus Campaign.
Maybe a few units here or there for the new campaign scenario?
Though I agree it is not a very high priority.

Well, now even the Taliban movement is stronger than Georgia, thanks to $83,000,000,000 in NATO gifts. )

Syria bug an inscription appears in the Idlib ( ادلب )mission the rebels have surrendered and the company suddenly ends ! This bug was also in the last version 1.6 ! How to treat and will there be a fix ?
1. Have you started this map in 1.6 or it's from 1.7? If it's 1.6 savegame, I think bug will still persist... buuuut you can always use cheat for winning scenario to avoid playing entire campaign from a scratch;
2. There's 1.7 localization available

This is the newly launched company for Syria 1.7 and your updated translation for this final version of the mod so far !
Did the author forget to fix it again ?

I made an AAR on the "WW3 in Europe" scenario, I play for Russia. It begins here:
https://vadim--proskurin-livejournal-co ... x_tr_hl=ru
Google Translator translates it surprisingly good so I decided not to bother with English translation. Every post considers one day of the war. The green arrows Previous/Next in the beginning of every post implement navigation. The final post is here:

Hope someone will like it.

Hallo Kameraden.
Hans

Hello comrades.
I have a question. I am in the process of translating Akkula's Modern Conflict into German.
I have a problem. The campaign name is obviously displayed in the default setting of PanzerCorps in "Süterlin" (old German) script.
If I now activate the German translation (via JSGME) it is difficult to read the name.
Can anyone give me a tip on how and where I can / must "change" something?
Thanks for your help.
Greetings
Hans

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with South Atlantic scenario. I am playing as British and went for southern landing, captured Brazo Norte, established beachhead and then forward airfield as well. But the problem is that I can not transport any of my ground troops from that airfield, not even paratroopers. Airfield is refueling planes normally, even Avro Vulcan strategic bomber but won't embark any ground units on air transports. Area is cleared and there are no enemy units adjacent to the airfield.
Also, when I put my mouse on embark/disembark icon it's showing Westland Puma 3/3 and Boeing Chinook 2/2, which should mean that there are transport helicopters planned for this scenario but AI is showing that they are all already used which is not the case. Is this a bug or am I missing something here?

If you are playing a single scenario Falklands War 1982, there will be bugs because the AI does not know how to do much and this map is recommended only for playing multiplayer

Playing Malvinas as British, you have to bring two transport ships to dedicated sea hexes north or south of islands (choice is yours) - you will get dozen of landing troops to capture the shore city. After than you can just buy reinforcements from there on. It's a scenario feature =)
ps: but yeah, as Vano says, this scenario is MP only, as AI just fail to deal with all these custom (amazing though) scripts and mechanics.

That's exactly what I did. But now I can't land forces on the western island and capture two key objectives there. If I knew about this bug then I would have landed few units on the western island when first wave of troops was launched.

Oh, my bad.
I do not recall much problem with loading troops on helos after clearing landing site during test playthroughs. So there's two options:
- cast "summon Akkula" spell

- make sure there's no mod mess-up etc - sometimes that can influence scripts and stuff.

It's a clean installation, no issues with other scenarios or campaigns (finished all of them). So I'm summoning Akkula

WOW........I just stumbled onto this and have been locked to the computer in a way I haven't since I first played Steel Panthers 2. How has this not become an official Slitherine product? Great job and thanks for all your hard work on this.
