This was pretty one sided with the Welsh proving to be too brittle to stand against the Viking shield wall.

Their defeat, however, will be will be artfully turned into a saga of bravery and sacrifice in the face of certain and utter defeat that will spur further generations of young Welsh men to throw their lives into the meat grinder of war!

After the league matches are done, we have to set up friendly matches to test out things. I know for sure I need to learn how to counter those darn samnite medium infantries :?

Sounds good. The Samnites are beasts! I was amazed at how much carnage they inflict on the initial charge. I'm still battling it out, but I did find that they eventually mellow out. Bomber23 was absolutely crushing me early (like he tore my arm off and then proceeded to beat me with it!) and now it looks like I'll still lose but not as badly as it once seemed. If we have a friendly match, can I be the Samnites? :)

If any of you feisty Div D folk want a practice match, I'm up for it as Div A is proceeding at nice slow and stately pace. Practice games are much less stressful than League games.

The Samnites are pretty dangerous - but if you can survive that first charge, you'll usually be fine if you're using heavy infantry with pikes or offensive spears.

Dailami infantry was very succesfull with the impact hits in this one. After the polish cavalry on their right folded, dailami cavalry was able to turn on the weakened polish center, and that was it really. Thanks for the game!
