hard fought game lots of elephants charging into infantry and into cataphracts , when the dust settled the early Sassanid guys did'nt quite manage to take out the Arabs and their own great , great great grandkids!

Rafydedel (ancient British + Roman) defeats Morat (Visigoth + byzantines) 68-53

Everything went wrong in this battle. Led by their dismounted lancers, Visigoth dig and expanded a hole in my main line of infantry with little effect of my Roman legionaries or British superior warbands. At the same time tragedy was happening for my opponent on the wings where armored lancers and other high end cavalry units were defeated by Roman cavalry and cheap but numerous British ligh chariots.

Victory was awarded to ancient British when their cavalry could help with the last infantry fights, but that was close.

The legion of pseudo-Romans fielded by the Bosporans took a while to reach the main battle. This left the Sarmatian lancers facing the heavier Parthians and supporting Seleucid infantry.

Nosferatu (Croatian) wins against frederic02 (Indian Rajput) 60:48

The terrain and army setups degenerated the battle into three separate independent fights. Croatians won their left flank and center, but were badly mauled on the right by Indians using elephants and rough terrain expertly. When the rest of the Croatian force moved to the right, the fight got even more brutal and ended just 3 turns before the timer ran out, leaving about 3000 dead and wounded on both sides and another 3000 Indians that were captured or routed.

The superior Teutonic knights were chewing through their Aragonese opponents until the lighter Berber cavalry found enough flanks to turn the tide. Close battle that very nearly went the other way.
