by Geffalrus
Division A
Geffalrus (Macedonians) defeats Sennacherib (Thracians) 27-3 via surrender on the field.
Uninterested in attacking uphill into the Thracian pikes, hoplites, and lancers on the right flank, the Macedonian army force marched to the left flank to corner the Thracian cavalry and light foot living there. A marsh in the center became the crux of the battlefield as opposing medium foot ineffectually stabbed each other to death in the soggy bog. When the pike lines finally engaged, the Macedonians simply had better luck - a Thracian general leading the veterans died on impact, while the Thracian regular pikes failed their cohesion checks even as the Macedonian pikes held firm.
Good game to my opponent.
Final positions.

Division A
Geffalrus (Indians) defeats Sennacherib (Franks) 32-14 via surrender on the field.
On a wide open field, both armies spent most of the match maneuvering - the Indians wanted to get around the pesky Frankish flanks, while the Franks formed a giant croissant to try and prevent that. To break the stalemate, the Franks rushed forward to try and trap the Indian flanking lancers on the left flank. In response, the Indian archers surged forward and bombarded the marching Frank infantry with arrows. Successive volleys opened weak points in the line, which the elephants and lancers did their best to exploit. Soon, the Franks found themselves looking at elephants in their rear and archers in their front, and an armistice was quickly agreed upon.
Good game to my opponent.
Final positions.

Division B
oscarius (German w. Gallic allies) beats cromleichi (Scots-Irish) 44 - 7
With insufficient forest or rough terrain to sufficiently cover his forces the heavy foot fairly naturally prevailed over the medium foot army. A good game where my opponent did the best he could with an army ill-suited towards fighting mine.
