Tough battle where mid-way it seemed the Arabs had the upper hand. Luckily for the Byzantines a few timely breaks of enemy units and some of theirs holding won the day. GG!

Nosferatu (Croatian) defeats Rob123 (Andalusian+Navarese) with 45:10

A medium patch of rough ground in the middle prevented a full open clash in the center. Instead the main battle was a cavalry fight on both flanks, with the infantry from the center joining in diagonally. While the Croatian right overwhelmed their opponents, the left was almost defeated by the Andalusian cavalry, but a few winning units ran off in pursuit, allowing the Croatians to win that flank as well.

alexmike1 Seleucid 166-125 + Parthian 250 BC - 225 AD allies beat SawyerK Carthage Hannibal in Italy 216 to 203 BC 42-15

Fun game with a good turn rate.

The Punic army stood in a strong defensive position, but their lights and cavalry struggled to deal with the numbers and firepower of their opposites. The African vets stood off against the Seleucid cataphracts until the last couple of turns. The Carthaginians tried a brave, late game sally from the hill, but were unable to turn the tide.

Good pace set by the Captain building a total that will be hard to catch. Everyone has completed at least 1 match. One month in so hopefully those with 1 or 2 results can put a few more on the board soon!
