				Division A
Aetius (Byzantines) defeats Bagatrix1805 (Germans) 63-41
A hard fought battle, the German cavalry was strong, and maneuvered well to flank quite a bit; fortunately the Byzantines kept their center, and broke enough to rout the enemy first. GG!

				div A
klayeckles (pergamemn) defeats oscarius (samnite) 57 to 29
the perga spearmen managed to survive the initial samnite onrush...then it was just a scrum with the spears having the edge.

				In Division C
SawyerK leading the Libyan 1250-651 BC army and Sea Peoples ally
defeated
Rockmanbob123 and his Syro-Canaanite army with Egyptian ally
by 62 to 51.
This was a brutal conflict whose end did not become clear until the final moves. The Libyans took heavy initial losses from the Syro-Canaanite superior numbers of light foot but began to recover when their assault swordsmen made contact. Guarding the latter from the high number of Canaanite chariots was difficult, and heavy Ugaritic chariots were a constant concern. I was pleased to emerge as the victor in a close match.

				In Division C
SawyerK leading the Libyan 1250-651 BC army and Sea Peoples ally
defeated
gcfl1 and his Assyrian 707-682 BC army
by 64 to 40.
The Assyrian Foot Guard Heavy Foot threatened to take out the Libyan army on its own, vanquishing four opponents before finally succumbing to a frontal, flank, and rear attack. The rough ground on the right flank of the Libyans, plus chariot diversions, managed to hold off the Assyrian cavalry, while the left flank and center attacks proved successful. This was a very difficult match against a savvy opponent.

SawyerK leading the Libyan 1250-651 BC army and Sea Peoples ally
defeated
mejobo and his Mycenean 1250-1180 BC army
by 65 to 43.
The Minoan Heavy Foot Spearmen were a constant problem for the Libyans, but the Picked Sea People success against the Mycenean Medium Foot Spearmen brought home the victory. A very difficult match that turned my way.

				Division A
markleslie Auxumite 100-970 AD with Beja 250-849 AD defeats
Nijis Arab (Abbasid) 815-835 AD
60-40.
Turn 3 from the Axumite POV.
Both armies advanced straight ahead using their overlapping left flanks to maul the opposing flanks. The fight on the hill on the hill was tight but ultimately favoured Axum while our left flank dominated, enveloping the eneny and penetrating into the massed bowmen decisively.
A straight up fast and furious contest, salute!
