The Canaanites moved to set up on an imposing rough plateau. The Hebrew lights clipped the rearguard buying the spearmen time to engage in close combat before the Egyptian massed archers could get comfortable. The Gibborim managed to hold on fighting up a difficult slope while the Aramaean chariots swept the lowlands clear. Thanks for a great game.

Nijis (Abbasids) defeats Bagatrix1805 (Germans) 60-54.

The two armies clashed in Alpine passes, where the left and right flanks of the armies were separated by a great massif. Dailami mountaineers forced their way through on the left, as Persian cavalry on the right bore the brunt of a German lancer charge and were cut down by archers on the heights. Meanwhile, a circling force of German nobles came up against the Abbasid rearguard, and the raw spearmen surprisingly held them off. Both armies were on the verge of breaking, but the Occidentals cracked first.
