I've got a couple other ideas though :) On the subject of general WWII stuff, there's a neat little six minute video on the BBC website about the "Night Witches". Here's the link for it.

For those of you that have issues joining my modded multiplayer Olympus challenge.

Download and install the MicroMod here:

Start OOB and select the Micromod in the opening screen:
Then run multiplayer us usual.
This works for me with both my Slitherine and Steam versions of OOB.

When it was just me I didn't think it mattered too much, but I notice another player got confused by the change in game settings associated with activating the mod. Maybe if it were tweaked so it wasn't in windowed mode, and kept the one button mouse status?

I forgot to remove my options-file (4k windowed) before I zipped the mod. That is probably what caused problems for you guys. Sorry about that.
All mods basically have their own options (created when you first launch the mod).

Sounds like it's all sorted out by now. Is the Konrad II thing still a go? If you'd prefer playing as Russia I can delete the game and restart, or we could try Konrad I with different sides.

I would prefer that we start Konrad II with you continuing as the Germans.
Then finally Konrad III.
If it is OK by you, of course.

I have not 'officially' published it yet.
It includes a few new multiplayer scenarios that are still being tested.

Hello, Erik.

I have played some of your MP scenarios these days. Some battles started to behave very strange - units "dive into" themselves so two units occupy one hex and/or they disappear after that. It happened in Kasserine and Papua. Normandy seems fine.

Is it (maybe) because of different versions - game version and scenario version?

Ghost units have been an issue from time to time during the years. AFAIK it is a game-related graphic glitch and not a scenario issue.

Yeah I've encountered the same issue periodically, it's not a new thing. Although lately I haven't been getting the e-mails telling me when it's my turn in multiplayer.

I'm also missing (some of the) email notifications. Also I get a 'request timed out' every time I login to multiplayer although the login still completes.

Erik,
I had to put the Sicily 3.3 version in the other directory for it to start. Oddly, it'll start on the Documents\my games\...scenarios, but only in Hot Seat mode. But if I copy it over to the Steam ... scenarios directory, I can join the game that way.
Thanks for mentioning this side-step earlier.

Just thought I'd let you know.

What's the next community test for your Multiplayer stuffs? Looking forward to it.

Hi conboy

I'm working on a large 2v2 Wacht Am Rhein scenario, battalion-units (!) on a 120x116 map.
One Wehrmacht, one Waffen SS and two US players.

I notice I only got a minor victory in Konrad II despite meeting all the objectives, including holding 3 or more towns. I speculate it's because of the "resources" objective, which isn't really an objective but an explanation.

Karis, I noticed there is a possible issue with the sec obj. Nothing to do with the Resources info 'obj' as there is no triggers linked to this.
And I got a major defeat :D

I'll PM you a link to Konrad III (if you're still interestede of course). This last Konrad is about the size of the first one...

Yup just did my first turn for Konrad III. I think you forgot to add supply though, unless the the logistical situation for that particular battle was a lot worse than I suspected!
