Ugh. Mod is definitely on. Went back and preludes, 1939 and 1940 work. 1941 fine thru 3 scenarios. 1942 fails when i start a new game.

SOE also fails, bit the AO content seems to work.

Anyway to fix other than deleting the mods and redownloading? Thanks.

asuming ur using steam, just go to the workshop, unsubscribe and resuscribe.
If ur not using steam come again and i´ll try to help.

Have u tried having only PC1 remake or SoE active and not both at the same time?
Sometimes mods interact in very unexpected ways.

Using Stand alone. Only 1 mod active at a time - learned that lesson a long time ago.

Also, got a new computer and freshly downloaded everything a couple weeks ago.

Poking around at program location. Master game is in the same spot.

One Drive>Documents>My Games>Panzer Corps 2>Mods

Instead of this PC. Could that create the problem? Any idea why some worked and others didn’t?

The error u got happens when the game does not find the file. If it finds the first 3 scenarios it will find 05Minsk41 as well. Provided it is there.
Please check:
One Drive>Documents>My Games>Panzer Corps 2>Mods>PanzerCorps1>Campaigns>GC1941>05Minsk41>Minsk41.*
if those files are there.
If not please download again, it was probably corrupted.

Please check if the Mod is really active in the mod manager.

If not please activate and don´t forget to hit apply.


Let me know if the issue still persists.

You can just overwrite, but if its there i doubt this will help.

Somethign that happens sometimes when installing the mod manually is a doubling of folders. make sure the folder structure is exactly:
...\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\PanzerCorps1\...
Sometimes the PanzerCorps1 folder is doubled, which will cause the game to not find the files.

if the file is there and the folders correct i see no reason within the game architecture why it shouldn´t find it, other than the mod not being activated in the modmanager.

Maybe the issue is within ur system configuration, but helping with that is beyond what i can do from here.

Ur path starts with OneDrive, which looks like a cloud. Is there no documents folder on ur computer?
Should look like this roughly:
C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\PanzerCorps1\PanzerCorps1.uplugin
the xxxxx is ur user name.

Thanks for all the effort.

I unlinked OneDrive, redownloaded the mod and straightened out the path but it still gives me the error.

Very weird since no issues with preludes, 39, 40, first 3 scenarios of 41,,AK and 43NH.

I’ll have to think about it for a bit.

Had a couple minutes and looked at a scenario that worked vs one that didn’t and compared them to my old computer that was working.

files in the 04CreteNaval scenario:

Crete.Naval.lua
Crete.Naval.map
Crete.Naval.pz2brf
Crete.Naval.pz2.scn

Exactly the same and the old computer.

Files in the 05Minsk41:
Minsk41.lua
Minsk41.pzbrf
Minsk41.pz2scn

The old computer had a Minsk41.map file, the new one does not.

Is this the problem? Any suggestions on how to fix?

the .map is crucial. u need .lua, .map, .pz2brf, .pz2scn for it to work.
just copy the file from ur old computer into the folder where it needs to be. that should solve ur issue.
Sine u are the only one who reported this i guess it´s a personal matter.

During my replay I succesfully finished Maikop and am arriving at Rostov 43 with 5 comendation and over 10k prestige.

Upon start of Rostov I am not asked for the Panthers. Neither can I buy a hero. Is this on purpose? From the first playthrough I know those Panthers come in very handy.....

One question I´m playing 1943NH, the mission is called Kehraus. In turn 3 I received 3 Me 329 with 3 free heroes, however since these are jets and I do not control any large airport all of them crash immediately. There is a way to prevent this?? I mean I take 2 enemy airports but these are also small. There is one large airport to the north but is is impossible to reach it before turn 6 so I do not know what to do

the panther com event is on turn 3 and they arrive on turn 4.
the event checks ur com points and is diff depending on the points u have. with 5 u will get the option for up to 3.

U have 2 mobile airfields at the start of the scenario. those can have jet planes on them. since they show up on turn 5. theres enough time to get those in place.

How would u change this hint in the briefing to make this more clear?


Currently u need to double switch those airfields. from dozer to construction site to airfield, with one of the next updates it will take two turns to build the big airfields and they already have 7 slots instead of 5.

I remember when I originally downloaded it, I needed to create the documents, my games, and Panzer Corps 2 folders. They weren't there on my new system.

I went back into the OneDrive folder and deleted everything associated with the mods. Now they don't appear when I start the game or try to activate them. What is the correct path for the game to find the mod? Looks like I have it in the wrong place, but don't know where to move it.

afaik evry windows system has a dokuments folder in the user folder. thats where i would look.
should be like:
C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\
with the xxxx being ur user name
Ur savegames and cores should be there as well, maybe u can try searching for those to locate the correct folder.

if u have another system than windows u need to ask someone else.

I restarted the campaign (Prelude + 1 battle in Poland, 'Generalissimus') and want to give some feedback:

• These scenarios end, when the primary mission is fulfilled. In some cases this can cost you the secondary objective (like capturing all airfields in Poland). Sure you can adapt to this, but it is not consistent. Scenarios later on in the mod end only when the turn limit is reached.

• I think it is impossible to do the 4th Prelude mission in the way the briefing suggests (Conquer the island --> move on to the western main objective). Please give me a hint if I am wrong about this.
