The Byzantine infantry was backed up by two heavy artillery and a mass of horse archers and lancers emerged from behind a large wood beyond my right flank. The Norman lancers were heavily outnumbered, so I refused my right flank and sent a unit of dismounted nobles and a unit of spearmen to support the crossbowmen hold some rough against the Byzantine mounted. The rest of the infantry lined up with the Byzantine infantry and advanced as fast as they could to get into melee to protect themselves from the rocks being fired by the artillery. I was able to stall the Byzantine mounted until my dismounted nobles could break the Byzantine infantry.

A good game Fluidwill and better luck next time.
