looking for game:
Me as the Dominative_East_Lat vs Ostrogoths, Gepids, or sassiands; arid map

or

Dom _West_Early vs Early Frank, Early Scots or Pics.

Or just suggest; I like being the Romans against historical opponents. Or as The East Romans, Byzantines

Or just recommend as long as reasonably Historical; Civil War Romans ok; but need to agree on Period and Allies

ANy book ok too.

password either way make: biggame

Here are three historical/semi-historical games. Opponents can choose either side as I've set up games for both armies. All are 500 point games and the password for all is: historical. One game per person at a time, please.

i) Rival powers of the north African coast do battle:
- Early Carthaginian vs Kyrenean Greek (later)
- No allies to be used by either side. Let's try and go for an arid map, if possible.
***Game now taken***

ii) Richard III of York faces a fight to keep his crown from the Lancastrian Henry Tudor:
- Wars of Roses Richard III vs Wars of Roses Tudor
- Green map only.
***Game now taken***

iii) Two Indian kings seek to expand their realms and crush their rivals beneath the feet of elephants:
- Classical Indian vs Classical Indian
- Green or arid map.
***Game now taken***

A rare foray for me to the world of the large map size - a 750 pt game. 750 pt offers the widest BG-to-map width ratio of the large size maps so there's plenty of space for tactical manoeuvring.

The battle line-up could not get more heavyweight, with two behemoths of the Hellenistic era: Seleucid Successor vs Ptolemaic Successor.

Opponent can choose either side as I've set up games for both armies. The battle can be fought on a green or arid map. FoW and double-moves are on, and the password is: historical. ***Game now taken***

The Irish game from the previous post is also still available. ***Game now taken***
