harveylh – Khorasanian 821-1003 AD with Arab (Abbasid) 815-835 AD ally defeats MikeC_81 - Viking (Ireland) 780AD with Scots-Irish ally, 52-41.

The Vikings resigned since it appeared the Arabs would win but would require many more turns. A tough game where the battlefield had enough woods to keep the Arab lancers from being a major factor. The heroes were the Arab bowmen on a hill that weakened and disrupted enough Viking spearmen to be the difference. The huscarls almost turned the tide at the end.

Long-time leader CheAhn (Arab Conquest) finished second just ahead of harveylh. In Division B another win for Geffalrus (Polish) means that he needs to win his last match to deprive long-time leader rbodleyscott (Arab Conquest) of automatic promotion. melm (Andalusian) can also reach 30 points but as he lost to rbodleyscott he cannot finish in top place.
