To enter post “I wish to enter” or similar in this thread. You must also include your choice of 3 armies and allies in the same post by Dec 31st. Armies must fall within the 1038 - 1319 AD time period.

Only one army list can be chosen for each division. For example, only one Mongol (Europe) 1223-1241 AD can be chosen, however another player can choose Mongol (Middle East) 1219-1229 AD.

Allies must fall within the period of 1038 - 1319 AD.

Please include your 3 choices as below

1) Catalan Company 1305-1319 AD
2) Berber (Marinid) 1244-1319 AD
3) Indian (Hindu North) 1050-1300 AD

Players will be awarded their choice based upon their ranking. Lower ranked players will receive their 1st choice while the highest ranked players will often receive only their 2nd or 3rd choice. There may be occasions when a 4th selection is required.

Please keep track of who has added their 3 choices and be prepared to change your choices at all times.

Players cannot use the same army list, variant army or same allies in the same period the following season. Nor can they use the same army list in a different period the following season. However, they can use a "variant" army or allies in a different period the following season.

Variant (Armies) – All armies that have the same “first” name, for example Roman, Hunnic, Byzantine and so on. A maximum of 2 of a variant can be used in a division

Final date for entries is 31st of December. The competition will run from the 5th of January to the 31st of March.

Allies have always been used, going back to Digital League. The use of allies greatly expands the number of lists which are really viable for tournament play. I don't see us ever going with no allies.

There are tournaments which don't use allies, HOML for example, so you can join one of those if you want to experience a no allies event.
