A battle between very similar lineups. The Frankish shortened their lines to set up defensive position on a hill on their left flank, leaving the Germans no choice but to fight with only half of their force until the other half arrived to attack. It looked like an easy win for the Franks with an early lead, but two German units were surrounded in the center and group attacked and held on, miraculously, tying up 4+ Frankish units long enough for the rest of the German force to climb the hill and overwhelm other units to win the day.

A close fight where the game hang on every dice roll. A single change could have altered the final outcome drastically. Thanks for the game, Morat.

Non comfortable victory where Khorasanian's failed to dent the Frankish line with missile fire and on a restricted map were then getting squeezed by spears and lancers into a heavy defeat. Helped by a small woodland on their left flank the Khorasanians held there while their right flank was getting overwhelmed by the Frankish lancers. As forces on both sides were losing strength and the Frankish left was dominating, an elephant unit of Khorasan managed to break through and cause enough havoc to level the scores. The pendulum of turns were then in Khorasan's favour and breaking a fragmented light unit got them over the line; whereas an evade would have seen the Franks win the day. Very good game against a valiant opponent. GG
