Despite the mountainous terrain the Vikings were able to swing out wide and turn the Anglo-Saxon flank, however this stripped the centre of reserves which was crushed by the Anglo-Saxon numerical superiority. The huscarls fought to the last man.

Karvon Navarrese 1050 – 1154 AD drew vs markleslie Bohemian 1050 - 1154 AD 16-10.

Navarrese lights attempted to create some soft spots for the knights to exploit or draw out their horse, but the Bohemians kept close to their masses of heavy foot and covered up holes that did appear, so the knights spent the day circling the slower Bohemian force.

Incredible game, I thought I had it wrapped up half way through being only 2% from victory, then the rus came roaring back to take the lead! Then with very few troops left on the field the Arabs managed to win a couple of melees to clinch it with only 2 turns remaining!

Not much in this game, could have gone either way right to the end. The Doc's dsmnt Knights were formidable and i had
to try and avoid them for the last 10 turns. Luckily, there were just enough lighter troops for me to rout to
get to 61...or it would have been game over for the Castilians. Very enjoyable game played in a great spirit by the Doc.

markleslie Bohemian 1050 - 1154 AD defeats Kroche Scots 1050-1154 w Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1050-1319 allies 69-38.

Over the shieldwall and from the destrier the matter was contested. A trial of strength neither side would shrink from, the Scots fought hard and gamely but, in the end, were overmatched by the martial prowess of the men of Prague. A great but costly victory.

To the breechless and barbarous Scots, SALUTE!

For a long time the battlefield was dominated by the Romans.
