Hi Thomas,
I just tried this. As in editing the elite number as you suggested and restarted Vipurii.
It does work for the "elite replacement" number. But it seems to break other stuff! All the "auxilary" Finnish infantry is suddenly gone when I start Vipurii.
the way I did it:
edit the map as you suggested.
Got back to last turn of the previous map, finish this and be elt to Vipurii
The preplaced (auxilary) Finnish infantry is gone without replacement. Any suggestions?

that is a bigger issue i did not think about, sorry.
Those finnish infantry do not exist in the vanilla game and ur editor does not know them. they are removed from the map when u open it with ur editor.
U will have to wait till i update the mod which should happen within the next 4 weeks.

I just worked my way through the scenario w/o elite replacement until I got my first refugees through. Ammo is the bigger constraint anyway....

Hi. So far, so excellent. I am in the Modlin scenario. How do I capture the fortress "without destroying it"? Nothing else to report, I think it's probably the most interesting version of PC2, I ever tried. Congrats,

the modlin scenario is an encircle one. u need to move only 1 of the aux infantry to close the circle. the fortress is "captured" when it has enough suppression and the number of defenders has been reduced.
once the suppression is high enough u get a message how many defenders need to be killed to capture the fort.
After the next update the briefing will be a bit more clear on how to do it.

Thank you. In the "Dash to the wire" scenario, the black box about the FW190 appears correctly but without a visible message. Is it maybe a missing comma?

how many FW did u buy? 1 or 2?

when it comes to the 3 Hero choices. do these appear randomly throughout all the years? I'm playing in the 41, headed to Moscow and haven't seen the 3 tiered Hero Boxes appear in a while?

by the end of the week i will update the mod. Then the new hero script will be in all campaings.

in general for the Commendation Choices:
did you build the campaign so that I can always say "yes" if I reach all secondary objectives and get all bonusses? Or does it make sense to "save" commendation?
In the "original" campaigns I always kicked my butt because I finished with a lot of commendation left. But I am not sure if this applies with your mod

if u get all secondaries, u can choose all commendations.

After the latest update I am not able to import my core from Preludes - there is no import dialogue.
The file got created though after the last scenario.

working fine for me. what preludes did u play? normal or LTD.
sometimes disabling/enabling mods helps, as well as unsubscribing/subscribing when using steam.
Edit:
found something which is probs causing this issue. i´ll collect some more before uploading a fix.
Workaround:
find the file:
campaign.json
in the folder:
\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\PanzerCorps1\Campaigns\GC1939\
change line 5 from:
"id": "GC1939-LTD",
to:
"id": "GC1939",

Normal and I got no other mods installed. Current version is 12.08.23 from Steam.
Just noticed when choosing 39' LTD I am able to import my core force but I did play the normal Prelude version.
I can still import my older core forces from 39 onwards, just '39 without LTD does not bring up the import dialogue.

I noticed that after importing a previous core force, all hero unit assignements are gone and I have to manually re-add them. Is this intentional?
