Horst: The Bren Carrier Wasp was already in my conversions to do list... The Scwimmwagen was not, but it is added now... I started working on those two units, so, stay tuned!

Magic1111: Ok! Thanks for the info! Did you use the last animation I uploaded or one of the three I previously upped as a "pack"?

Bebro: I am the one who has to thank you for your nice icons! Nice words are wellcome, in any case! :-)

As per BNC request, I made this Bf-108B icon... Completely made out of two good internet found images, I think it still has the "PzCorps look"... I hope you like it!

The pack includes the base icon and mask, the regular german camo assortment, and also units in the colors of Hungary and Romania! Enjoy!

Looks good. And thanks for including all the extras. Now I can shuttle my officers to important staff meetings in style.

I used the last animation, not one of the three in the package! Because I thought, the last animation is in regarding to the entry of the efx File the best animation for the Pz III_Flamm! :D

Thanks for the Bf 108! It will make a nice new early fighter. (Anyone who's interested, the 108 was actually used as a fighter until 1940, after which it was just used for transport, communication and training pilots)

BNC: Thanks for the nice words!

I am sorry to say that I could not find any reference regarding the use of the Bf-108 as an auxiliary fighter... with its top speed of aprox. 300 km/h it would not be capable to intercept any modern bomber of the early war era, I think... May be you are confusing it with the Ar-96 trainer, which had an gunnery trainer version which was (very lightly) armed with machine guns?
The fighters used by the lufwaffe before the Bf-109 were biplanes made by Arado and Heinkel, mostly...

This plane, on the other hand, was very much liked in its use as a liaison and light transport aircraft.

An AA unit made multipurpose, revisited... The M16 MGMC. After Anfield released one version of it in his Canadian unit set, I added the direct fire conversión of said unit, and also revised the old pack that I had previously released, because I noticed that the country insignia were misaligned... So here is the complete pack, including base icons and masks for vehicles with UK, USA, Soviet and French colours, some of them in SE colours also.

Enjoy and update your collections!

Nice work guille. You're really spoiling us with all these new units, but I'm not going to complain.

Thanks again!

I'm thinking of making the Bf108 serve a purpose both as a 1937-40 fighter and a Ju-52 style transport plane.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Magic1111! :-)

IceFlame: Thanks for the nice words... There is more coming, for sure! :-)

Phcas: Thanks for sharing another "missing" icon! :-) This one is going straight to the "to do" folder to make its AT variant!

BNC: I don't know what to add to your idea about the Bf-108 and Ju-52... Just that the Ju-52 was used by the Luftwaffe as a very early bomber (Was tested in spain, I think, but without much success)it would not be difficult to make an icon for the bomber version...

Well I suppose that would be fine from a 'what if' perspective. But AFAIK, it was never actually used in a fighter role, (other than in movies where it often stands in for the 109). Great little transport though. :)

For those interested, here's a pic:

And a little bit of background info:
From the late 1920's, Dr. Willy Messerchmitt antagonized Erhard Milch, eventually Hitler's Secretary of State for Aviation, and thus Messerchmitt's company, Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (BFW), could not get much support from the German government. At one point, the Gestapo even called on Messerchmitt to question him about his contracts with the Romanian government. In 1933, his luck changed, when the Luftwaffe invited BFW to design a sports plane for an upcoming international air race. Messerschmitt, under tight deadlines, based his new aircraft on the work he had done for the Romanian sports plane.

The resulting Bf 108, the forerunner to the 109, flew in February, 1934, with a top speed over 200 MPH. Its performance at the races showed real promise, but due to Milch's influence, the Luftwaffe's request that year for a fighter was given to Focke-Wulf, Arado, and Heinkel, but not to BFW. By 1935, though, Messerchmitt was granted a development contract, something of a gamble. As a development-only contract, it represented a gamble. Milch made it clear that no production contract would follow. Messerchmitt relied on the superior qualities of his design, the Bf 109, to overcome Milch's opposition.

A request made by Horst: The Bren Carrier Wasp, which was a Bren Carrier with its machine gun replaced by a flamethrower and with the flame fuel tank mounted at the rear of the vehicle... Another one for the "Flamethrower Mafia"!
