Well, I did nothing of that

But you can still see the 602 kb jpeg, so obviously they compressed it automatically when I uploaded the picture OR they allow meanwhile more than 256kb.
How do you count that game for the statistics? He lost most of his tanks, and his artillery (Wespe). If Poland needs just 3 objectives there is no doubt it's a decisive victory. If I must storm his last objective for that, he may keep it down to a marginal one.

Hello guys,
Right now I have 12 completed matches (1 by resignation), 4 weren't finished (or didn't start, even).
IckieStickie vs Rogo727 - This started on Tuesday apparently and haven't heard since. I sent an e-mail asking what is going on. (EDIT: Nevermind I miss Rogo's victory)
TopGun vs HansStory - Sorry TopGun but you only managed to set up the match on Saturday. I'm inclined to let HansStory go through unless this was completed in time.
BillWolo vs misterno - The round never started as far as I know, and as far as I know BillWolo never issued the challenge, so misterno would go through.
MarkTK36thIL vs SSIGeneral - Match was set up but SSIGeneral never accepted (and I never heard back from him), so MarkTK36thIL will go through.
I'll give a few more hours to IckieStickie and Rogo to let me know what happened with their match, and to the players of the three others matches to contest my decision if they wish so (and please provide proof).
Then I'll post an updated table and post the information for Round 2.
Thank you.
P.S.: IGScarlet, outstanding work

PeteHat, Dardalon and Woken won their matches.

Self-propelled howitzer "Wespe" entered service in 1943 (in a larger number in 1st SS Panzer Corps during 3rd battle of Charkov).
That's what you writing about like "Wespe" is sIG 33 Sturmpanzer I (Bison) self-propelled German heavy artillery gun.

I'm pretty sure it must be an insect, probably it was a Hummel then( I confused one insect with the other

Which makes sense, because a bumblebee( Hummel) is not a dangerous insect, while a wasp( the more advanced version) can hurt you( but usally not kill you).So artilleries are insects and tanks are predators, cats to be exact: Panther, Tiger, Kingtiger, Leopard.
Don't forget, they used the same chassis for different versions and different tasks ! I think a 'bison' is the anti-tank version and not the artillery one of the SIG33. But I'm just guessing here by the names.

Bumblebee , hah, clever how harmless that sounds.
However, Bison fits into Nashorn and Elephant, all herbivore mammals, all anti-tank weapons...
Nashorn= rhino
Btw, the direct translation of Nashorn would be 'nose horn'

Unfortunately, "Hummel" was created at the same time as "Wespe" and appeared at the front at the same time (1943).
Battle of the Bzura took place in 1939, four years earlier. It was Bison.

Hansstory and TopGun got to turn 12. I think my Polish had the advantage at the end. It was a good game and we both tried hard to finish the match over the weekend and got very close. I think we would have finished it if I didn't have to take the wife to dinner and movie. Sorry about that TopGun. Good game.

Since Igscarlet is the official documentarist of Round I (and he's doing a great job!), I won a DV on turn 11 (that is, on turn 11 I capped all the objectives and never lost any of them until the end of the game). Speaking of victories... How can someone win before the final turn? I'm talking about that DV on turn 5
PS
I'm studying WW2 pretty much my whole life and I never realised that Jerry SP-ART was named after bugs
Funny thing is, I even know some German...

Being aggressive. Germany and Bagration scenarios were worse, much harder (achievements).
