Allen and I started our game a little (well, a lot) late but are speeding through it now. It should be done in next 2 days. Apologies for the delay.

Jonathan4290 (Alamanni) 2/37 defeats Okie (Alans) 19/19 or 100%
Jonathan4290 (Alans) 1/26 or 4% defeats Okie (Alamanni) 38/33 or 100%
Okie had the absolute worst luck I have ever seen in these matches. As the Alans, Okie had a strong armoured lancer wing poised to sweep away the weak cavalry wing of mine while the Alamanni infantry slogged their way forward to try and actually influence the battle. In the initial charge, Okie lost each combat and fragmented 2 of his armoured lances on impact for double cohesion losses. No recovering from that.

Thanks every one for joining. In the next two weeks i will prepare the second part (but with a different organization, making sure everyone will have as main the byzantine army). And ofcourse to everyone... have a happy 2017.

Just out of historical interest and with the new league in mind, have you calculated how the different armies did across the different players?

Yes i did Richard

The most important conclusion (but not any suprise here) is that the cavarly armies were more powerfull than the HI or MI based armies. A quick list is as follow:
Sarmatians= 10 wins
Alans= 9 wins
Byzantium and Franks= 7 wins
Persia, Scots and Goths= 6 wins
Alamanni= 5 wins.
2nd) i am pretty sure Alamanni are a better army than Scots, but it is far more hard to make them win Jonathan than to make Scots win me...
