Don't worry John. I will make Britcon and be the necessary cannon fodder for you high rankers.

"It was a lucky fluke due to the smaller player pool, played less than the year I won, poor army choise removes all chance, as I have won everyone will be looking out for me, some other gibberish..."
Take your pick...

Smaller players? No one advised me about the new height restrictions! Is this why Alasdair is in the meg pool?

The success Alasdair has had with the gee-gees and the tag Horse-meister confused a number of jockeys who entered Briton by mistake...

Do not panic Hunter the restriction on size relates only to height and not other less well endowed features of the male anatomy.
Hunter to hope to win FOGR at Britcon. You heard it here first. There is also no truth to the rumour he is affiliated to the Russian Olympic squad!!!

Have you been peeking in the men's showers again John. I'd have thought you'd learned your lesson from that last unfortunate incident with big Raoul!

I still have one list outstanding and am awaiting the response to queries on 3 others. I'm going to be away for the next 3 days, so assuming I receive the outstanding items by Friday I'll post the R&R then.

Nothing you can do Kevin and I'm guessing there'll be extenuating circumstances in play. I know we all want to get a heads up on the armies folks are running and to get into the pre basho trash talk but Friday will be plenty good notice. For I can share that I'm using Later Imperial Spanish of 1635 vintage. Anyone else who wishes to share can feel free. This should separate the serious contenders from us fun players!

That's not true as you shared your army. It is a far far better thing you do than you have ever done before. Mind you not much competition.

In any case, I think it is socially and politically incorrect to presume upon the list checker's prerogative to announce the runners and riders.
That sounded almost convincing.
