Tough game with a huge difficult hill from my right flank all the way to the centre and fields and plantations on my left. Leaving only a few gaps for my heavy foot to press.

Thanks for two good games. The game where I was the Pechenegs could have gone either way. About as close as they've come to defeat so far in this tournament.

Horse Archer armies just seem useless in this game system. So a really tough pair of games for whoever took Pechenegs!

Two very difficult games. I was aiming for a draw as Visigoths and a win as Lombards but what I thought would be the easier game ended up being very close, and the tougher game just went my way.

Remaining game ongoing. I look like I'm going down in that one and potentially badly. Will keep fighting to the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the games Jonathan and to all the others too that I played on the way to the final. Some tough but fun games. Jonathan is a worthy winner.

(Just to make sure we did the math right in these very close games)

Jonathan4290 39/36 + 20/34 = 59/70 = 84.3%
LordNytram 28/39 + 37/33 = 65/72 = 90.2%

Thank you again to everyone who participated. I am hoping to launch another tournament the second the new version is out, unless we hear any further delays, in which case I'll most likely run a mini one.
