Amazon US are consistently conservative in their estimates.

Check what you have you ordered? Have you ordered an army list book that is not due for publication until April?

My copies of the rules and army lists arrived this morning - I'm very impressed with the production quality and the copious diagrams. Now to look at the heap of unpainted lead and decide what to have a go at! The only drawback is the lack of someone to play dollies with around here - is anyone looking for a game in the South Shropshire/North Herefordshire area?

Good to hear things are getting through. Having been a bit in the distribution world, it is always a bit surprising on the outside how long things can take to get through primary and secondary distribution.
Sounds like Amazon erred on the conservative side in their announcements and were bounced into aciton by the demand for action now, which is good.
Still patience is a virtue - even as Authors we only received our copies a few days ago direct from Osprey. So is not as if anyone has got a big lead -sounds ike a few in Aus may have beenthe first to receive them in fact.
Great to here all the pleasure their arrival is creating. Makes it all worthwhile.
Happy gaming

Hi Steve
I think we met up at Britcon and corresponded by email a while ago. I'm certainly up for a game sometime (i'm in Presteigne on Powys/North Herefordshire border) so if interested please feel free to drop me a line at

My Amazon US order is showing "Shipping Soon" which means they will go out tomorrow. I ordered the Rules and first 2 army books with Free shipping. From my past Amazon experience, I expect to have them by fri-sat. I ordered Feb 6.

I just received the "order shipped" email notice from Amazon US. Since I ponied up for the "next-day shipping" option, I'll be receiving my FoG package tomorrow... I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve!
Cheers,
Scott

If you've had them tucked up your kilt "for safe keeping" I doubt you'll have too many takers!..
