OK, pal! Indeed, the frozen lake now looks frozen, and the trucks are rolling over solid ice, not water! I would say this mini-mod adds to the visual appeal of winter maps! Thanks for testing and reporting!

I will upload the mod files in "my" thread, adding some experimental hexes that I also made (with different shades of ice, and another one with water and icebergs (or may be pack ice?) Those last ones could be useful to be added in the terrain hex file.

I am very glad I could give you that humble collaboration to your great project!

Now, with the winter gone, the werhmacht prepares another attack over the soviet positions at Kerch.

Time to add some power to the axis fleet: Destroyer Type 1936A and U-Boat Type IIB

An more naval units for the axis, this time for the italian navy: the CB class midget submarine and the MAS anti-submarine boat

Another little update, the axis forces are trying to break through the first line of defence:


And the soviet prepare some forces to repeal the attack:

Out of curiosity, were there actually any real historical examples of forts that looked like the vanilla icon - i.e. an observatory with a gun instead of a lense?

That Maxim Gorky battery may be mighty, but the original is always the best! AND I DON'T MEAN THE VANILLA ICON EITHER!
Can it stand up to all of those? (And the many more off-screen?)

Yeah sure guille!, I will send it to you on monday, I am out of town right now. I wil try to improve it by myself anyway.
