Well if it is then can someone please post whatever was done. I am sure to find a use for most of it (or at least find some good ideas hidden away!).

I bet you could too!

The guys who were still working on this mod the last I heard about are mostly on the DMP forum, although Nico may be able to put someone in touch with them. It had/has so much promise, would be sad to see it go away. I put it on the level of Chris10's mod from a couple of years ago. But luckily we have guys on the forum who do more than their share of making great mods for us to play and enjoy and THEY COMPLETE them even if there is real life and other delays that cannot be helped...........that is most important.

Yes, I know this, but Churchy and some others from DMP were working on it when I last read about it and any activity. I know Nico bowed out of the project. After that I don't know what happened. But some posters on the DMP forum were affiliated with it. Fair enough?

LoV is located in Streitmacht Forum.
There is the Vanilla version published.
The Ultimate version seems to last longer time.

To my regret, I have to admit that the project "LoV Ultimate" has failed. Since the beginning of the year is no longer working on LoV-U. One of the reasons is that the initiators (nikivvd & churchlakecity) are no longer active ... of course at nikivvd - because he creates now officially Maps, at church ... I dunno, he's since November just do not come back ...

The existing result of our work, we can not publish the whole, because the legal status is unclear in particular of churchlakecity's work. To ensure that our work was not completely "vain", I want to separate my custom UI from the project and publish it as a stand-alone mod. I will offer the mod during the summer for free download at streitmacht.com ... Until the release, I have to customize the UI to the "normal" Panzer Corps and remove all LOV U components (Units, Maps).

Thank you so much for the updated information Soldberg. From what I understand, you are attempting to get the mod released in the summer with perhaps the maps and units? If Nico allows his work to be utilized (maps, etc.), perhaps the units can be substituted in LoV Ulitimate should Churchy's (Klaus') work not be allowed or he decided to not want it included. There are many excellent unit icons that would be great in the mod and look much better than the vanilla units you guys wanted to replace. Just a thought, maybe.
I don't want to be sticking my nose into someone else's business but I would love to see the mod completed in some form or fashion giving appropriate credit to those who did contribute to it.

I left the team as map/scenario builder about a year ago. One of the reasons is that i wanted to work on Operation Sea Lion. If a replacement has been found in the meantime, and if the project has developed further or cancelled altogether, i don't know.
