Timurids overwhelmed the German left wing quickly, opening up the German center to rear attacks as it was showered by arrows from the front by the Timurid center.

Never have I seen swiss pikemen perform so poorly in the history of FOG. All charged my units, all disrupted themselves on the attack. Another turn and they were routed or fragmented.

Having won initiative, the Latin knights, peppered from my LF, had no other choice than quickly attack the MF almughavar placed in woods and broken terrain.
This, at last, made the difference.

After a long advancing phase - covered by my LF and painfully slowly maneuvered to avoid the deadly fire of some longbowmen nestled on the hills present on my left flank - the dismounted knights were no match for the almughavar on impact and, disintegrating, opened gaps were also the archers were exposed to melee combat and then slaughtered.

Yeah - I didn't play well and couldn't get to grips with your army. When I did manage to get a hit in I tended to lose even whilst being at double plus!
