Final battle result:
Romans (Deeter) 5/39 vs. Punics (iandavidsmith) 52/44
It's never a good idea to attack Romans uphill.
Thanks for the game,
Deeter

Deeter-
I am totally confused (which seems to be my normal state!)
I though that in the current round I was to be Mid-Republican Roman and you were to be Syracusan.
Yet when I logged-on, the only option seemed to be for me to play Syracusan against your Syracusan

when you accept the challenge you are presented with a choice of armies from a particular book. you have to choose the RIse of Rome book to find your Romans.

Deeter-
When I accepted your challenge , it would only allow me to play an army from Immortal Fire.
This would be my Later carthaginians.
Is this correct?

batesmotel(Pyrrhus in Italy) 35/40
fogman (Pyrrhus in Italy) 42/40
This was close battle all the way to the last turn when a number of fogman's BGs broke from excess casualties and a bit of bad luck. Thank for a good game.

The Battle of Kobayashi Maru was fought on a small plain
between a hill and some woods. The relentless march of the
Romans was undeterred until it struck into the heart of the
African spear with devastating results.A Gallic attempt to outflank
the Legions was held off by a few dispatched units until victory was
achieved. Thanks for the game.
