Like Kjeld111 I have downloaded the V2 of the beta, checked the flags as per Von Paulus comment. I see
DLC3 Beta 1 so is this version 2 or not ? The dLC I downloaded and have loaded says Beta DLC3 V2 so why does main screen give impression its still 1 ?

Iain already replied to this upstrem. Changing the version number apparently slows down development. He said:

"It is a little confusing but means we didnt need to get you a new 200MB installer. To be honest we wouldn't have had time to do that today!"

Yeah, sorry, I missed those posts. I only read the top message. My bad.

In order to appear the version DLC3 beta 2 written, we would have to have a new beta installer.
This way we'll continue to see DLC2 beta1 written down, but we don't have to download an extra 200mb just to appear the word DLC3 Beta2 there.
I know this may sounds confusing, but just install DLC3 beta2 and don't worry. You'll be running DLC3 beta2 but the worlds written down will be DLC3 beta1.

Updated Beta 1.05 - see top post for details!

Changes in v1.05 Beta
- French language options. Needs more testing and feedback to fix issues.
- 4 new multiplayer maps. Just go to the multiplayer screen
- Added new units to the equipment file including IS1, KV85 and a number of Russian infantry units.
- Added a new layer to the editor used for custom hex markings for things like objectives
- Fixed a number of strings issues in English and German versions
- Fixed window mode turning on by itself occasionally
- Various other bug fixes

Uninstalled all the old components. Installed 1.05 beta. Tried to run the smaller patch and it said it could not run because of a version mismatch. Anyway, tried to run 1.05 and I am getting a CRC error and please reinstall. Unistalled everything. Reinstalled 1.05 beta, still getting the CRC message. Anyone else seeing this? Still going to play around and try to fix it but let me know if you have seen this and know a fix.

Sorry to repost but I am at a loss. Keep getting the CRC check failed reinstall the game.
Saw another person had this issue and it was serial number problems they said
Tried the serial number emailed to me for the beta, serial number from my purchased version nothing works.
Still trying.

How big is you exe file, Blitz1945?

I think you are on to something there!! 1.1 mb..
It downloaded without issue and installed without any errors.
Any thoughts?

It looks like a corrupted download, Blitz.
Have you tried to download it again?

Redownloading the files and trying again..

Redownloaded got the exact same error.
Think I am going to give up for tonight.

One quick thing that may or may not help.
There is a pnzer corps txt doc in the panzer corp beta folder that is empty.
I think in the other installs it held the serial number.
Don't think it took it for some reason.
If I go in and manually add it I get the same error message.

I had trouble loading saved scenario file from previous build (had to re-install the '41 DLC pack). Screen is black, turns and prestige both display all zero's, and overview map in the lower right corner has brown, grey and green spots over a black background. No menus come up when clicked or when 'ESC' touched.

Will try a new start on scenarios.

It's better to start a new campaign. The equipment file is different from 1.04.

Exactly the same issue as Pickle.

uninstalled the previous version and installed the new. Then installed the DLC file. My saved game is completely borked in the same way as pickles. I had to task manager to get out

It should not cause a crash - can you send the saved game to info@slitherine.co.uk so we can investigate. Let us know teh details in teh mail as tech support wont know what to do with it without info!

Same as Shillelagh and pickle. Choose a saved game from the 1.04 DLC 41 and it takes a while to open (map is black, strategic map is strange pixellated, Esc Menu doesn't work, weather symbols are blank) and have to use Task Manager to close it. This was a clean install (uninstalled 1.04 DLC beta first and then installed 1.05 one). Do pzsav files have a reference to the file path of scenarios etc and is the reinstall using the same paths?
