As long as your telling me how many points I have left that sounds fine to me.

It is written that I shall be the lord of all I survey but at the moment call it the dukedom of Westmorland

Of legitimate heirs I have 2 who are Samuel the Silent and the Lady Rachael

My lands are:-

Kirby Lonsdale
Ravenstonedale
Great Asby
Kendal
Newbiggin-on-Lune

My ancestors came over with the Conqueror in 1066 and settled in the above lands (actually true - however he was probably the guy who collected & sold the dung).
Our motto is Diligence and Honour (again true but we try not to remember it too much these days as it holds you back in the 21st Century!).

Faction names added to master map, counties added to strategic map and heraldic blazons thrown in for good measure! I've also got four decks of playing cards with different backs for the Convocation and Fate decks. If you PM me when you are ready to go, once we are all in, we can start with the Lords' Convocation of Winter 1350.

Cheers.

I'm completely new to this period and am having a real problem deciding upon an army but as we are from Lancashire I'll go for them in War of the Roses.

I can only see one called War Roses Lancastrian - if there's another with a different name it's not that

That's the only Lancastrian :) It's a nice list with lots of options. And longbow/swordsmen :)

Sorry, missed the "I'll go for them" reference to Lancashire.

Methinks I've found a worthy opponent over in the middletons - doesn't check his flanks I've heard and has a dodgy eye which makes it look like he is always winking at your consort.

Once hostilities have started, if anyone genuinely feels they have made an atrocious army choice, there may be the opportunity to switch lists. There are also in-game mechanisms that may get you 'bonus' army lists.

I am ready, uh I think...
Do we need a spreadsheet to keep track of each county, the level of settlement ports farms or whatnot that are in them? Do we start with any of these items? Also what is our starting treasury?

1. Do we have any settlements at start? Do we have a capital at start (do we pick a hex for it)? Do the 5 different levels of settlements have names (I saw hamlets mentioned but nothing else and nothing in the chart)?

2. Have I missed the starting amounts somewhere? (Starting $$ and manpower in particular.)

3. Do we have an initial standing army or are we building that turn 1?
