In the end we'd like to get the margin of error small enough such that we can say with 90% confidence that the chance to win as the axis is X% and the chance to win as the allies is Y% ASSUMING matched opponents. Hopefully X% and Y% will be within the margin of error of 50% or close enough to 50% to be considered balanced.

One problem with the chart is that it contains all games from GS v1.00. There have been quite a bit of changes from GS v1.00 to the current version. Some might have affected game play. The V1.05 changes have definitely shifted the game slightly towards the Axis. So the percentage might be different if we only had GS v1.05 or later games registered.

Added two more victories by Neil (one as the axis & one as the allies). Neil maintains his undefeated record and is one of three players (Neil, Max & Massina) who have 10 or more wins. I guess that makes these players double-aces.

He is undefeated because he didnt play against me, at least since the stats are taken... LOL just joking, but I'd love to taint that record :)

Personally, I'd love to see you and Neil go head to head in a game with GS v2.00. That certainly would be a "Battle of the Titans".

Max,
You are going to miss out being the first ;) because Joe is close to beating my Germans in late 1944...

STOP THE PRESSES. Neil suffered his first defeat, which was handed to him by Joe Rock. This is the same Joe that handed Borger his one and only loss. All three of these players are tough opponents who I'm playing at the time and to whom I've suffered numerous defeats against. In fact, I've never come close to beating anyone of them; but enjoy playing and do learn a lot from.

Greetings,

I'll admit. I am a person who finds statistics most fascinating. Shall you produce different stats for 2.00+ games? Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't the sigificant changes from 1.xx+ warrant this? There seems to a lot of changes for 2.00+ and I think info gained from 2.00+ games would be lost if combined with earlier results.

Just curious,

Updated stats to include two more (axis) victories by Joe Rock including an ultimate defeat of me. Joe is one tough opponent, as his record indicates.
