To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about the Mujahideen flag. If you enter the question on the net, you get various suggestions and patterns. As I came across countless groups, splinter groups, a different leader in every village etc., I decided on this one again.

In the game itself, the IS flag appears on the villages conquered by Mujahideen, so what the heck.

Everything is fictitious. If you look at it closely, even Panzer Corps original DLC. For example, I remember the scenario in the Polish campaign where the German and Russian armies fight a duel.
I try to stay as close to reality as possible, but since I also have special missions in my head that I have invented, it also becomes partly fictitious. but the mission sturm-333 is again close to reality. that's why I have also designed and incorporated special units like the GRU and KGB Alfa.

I will let the cat out of the bag.
December 27, 1979, Operation Storm-333, the elimination of Afghan President Hafizullah Amin in the government palace by the Russian KGB and other special forces, prompted me to bring in these units. But I'm still not sure if I should release them for special operations only or make them permanently available for purchase. I have also included the 103rd Vitebsk Airborne Division, which will be available for the duration of the campaign.

The double occupancy in the purchase window by the special units will then of course be eliminated, this is only for testing purposes

If the player can buy and use these units throughout the campaign, I fear that the balance will be lost.

You can make them SE units maybe? Or "bonus", which added to core, but you cannot purchase them. So they can gain experience and heroes, but you cannot spam these elite soldiers.

That works too, especially since I can narrow down the time when they are available as a bonus. Good idea, thumbs up.

On the evening of 27 December, the 154th detachment, together with 60 soldiers from the Grom and Zenit special groups, participated in the assault on Amin's palace.

I can't change anything about the flag in the occupied towns, you would have to change the main mod of MC. This also applies to all other nations, no problem for the units.

To represent the Soviet Union or Afghanistan, you would have to create it as a completely new nation. This is also possible, but only works if you change this in the main game.
