Final thoughts:
Game play: the Kursk 43 is very intense and deserves to be played by any BE player. It adds to the experience of the Mod, by forcing the player to play in all fronts – a difficult mission. Thank you Mc Guba.
Historical realism is yet another reason to play this scenario. All units were set in such a way that resemble the realistic circumstances of 1943 situation.
Among other things these are in my opinion the turning points for victory in Kursk 43 save scenario:
*Early capture of Stalingrad by a recon force.
*Switch of Luftwaffe from Germany and France to the east front.
*Tiger endurance, especially in 44 and after. Lots of prestige invested for Tiger I. In total three units were bought/upgraded to this type. They were used with great success in Voronezh, N. Italy, Moscow to Vologda, Stalingrad north attack to Saratov, Leningrad final attack and Normandy defense.
