Only 13 games left to declare, great to see so many results returned in good time. Div A. eric and Roesdelio sitting equal at first place and looking difficult to catch.

Div B. Bob has the lead in the clubhouse, Triarii could catch him with good result in his last games.

Div F. 1st IMC with 8 wins and likely the top score across all divisions - well played ! Probably between gfs and mberisso for second.

A very close game where all results were possible near the end. Roman army moved their line to sit their right with a thin wood line to their front as protection. Central forces stayed connected to the right wing and took up the open ground between the wood on their right and some rough ground to their left. The Romans advanced their left towards a large wood in their opponents deployment zone. There was a big plateau on one side of the Romano-British deployment zone and they rotated their whole line forward left and began advancing on this axis. Romano-British move to occupy the higher ground kept going and became a large left hook which threatened the Roman right. Heavy foot met in the centre with Romans looking a bit stronger here but the melees were were even and no-one could break the other.

All the ROman medium foot were on their left to clear the wooded area which was sure to have some units in it. This battle in the woods, against what turned out to be more units than expected of skirmishers and Brythonic foot, although won by the Romans with little loss to themselves engaged the Roman forces for nearly the whole battle and they were unable to be used elsewhere where they were sorely needed. The Romano-British left hook got all the way round the flank and the Roman right was trapped and suffered greatly as the Noble Cavalry smashed their flanks and the whole line followed suit within a few turns.

Then, as the Romans started to gain ground in the centre, it was who could get their forces engaged to help first - The Romano-British were more mobile with warband pursuits and 4 or 5 noble cav units and they had a good line which reached the centre just as the Romans were starting to win there. The Roman left could not get back to help and as the points were racking up for both sides it could have finished any result. A Roman light horse charge broke a warband that had come back from routed to fragmented, which got to the 60 pt mark, even then a Roman warband with CinC had been disrupted by flank cav charge but managed to hold firm I think on 3 rolls (the last 2 while Fragmented) to stop the match from ending as a draw. It was very unlucky for Triarii who really did enough to win, but the Romans are stubborn and pulled themselves through a difficult spot. GG

Two very close games , like in our medieval battles , it seems we have the same level and it produces excellent unpredicting battles

Sea people are highly dangerous against other foot units, Mitanni only hope was with their chariots.

Two very narrow and amazing battles, resulting in two Phyrric victories.
Battles lasted very long and resulted in a very bloody fight on both sides.

That was one epic battle.
XLegione should have won it several turns ago but one Egyptian light spear unit rallied from routed twice only to finally autobreak on the last turn to one casualty.
Then on turn 23 I would have had a 61-59 win by chasing a unit of chariots off the map but they returned immediately allowing the Hittites to hold on and win on T24.
