Btw: in moscow 41 i thought the non active russian tanks are the fresh far east reinforcements. What a painful suprise, when the real far east army arrived...had a very realistic battle for moscow scenario then. High losses.

We are mostly staying true to the original maps in Panzer Corps 1. Some maps have been altered in size slightly and to also improve the geography to be more accurate.

Can we have at the same time ORiginal DLcs and also DLCs (PZC 1)? Im testing Danzig corridor. I have to say this is ...great work !!!! I love it. I dont undertsan why you rotate the map? I mean the DANZIG city and GDynia should be upper like geographical direction in this case NORTH. Please answer.

The way the hexes are laid out was rotated 90 degrees in Panzer Corps 2 compared to Panzer Corps 1.
So they had the choice between keeping the maps pretty much identical but rotated 90 degrees, or do their best to make a custom map similar enough despite the 90% rotated hexes.

They did the first option for the first couple Grand Campaign segments, but I think they are shifting to doing more custom maps that keep the north in the north going forward. But I could be wrong on that.

Yes, the maps for GC1941 and beyond are redrawn with the correct orientation and some custom updates and geography corrections, but generally the same for the most part as the original maps. GC1942 is getting close to being completed.
