Could this be a 2nd Norway scenario where you invade Norway by sea somewhere after you have seized the primary airport near Oslo? Or is it the other training mission that Kerensky mentioned?
Both are good guesses, my pick would be a training mission to prepare for the invasion of France and the Low Countries set at a "secret" location in Czechoslovakia.

Yes, that was one possibility that I thought of along with of course CZ being short for Czechoslovakia. The Czech frontier defenses were closely modeled after the Maginot Line and the Germans studied them in depth to get some ideas of how to crack them.

Sounds like the perfect historical backdrop to set up a newly implemented Training Scenario mission types. We'll see if the designers were that smart and did their research good enough to have done that.

Which 'British' scenario will be aircraft only?
Dover?

In which battle[s] did the German ARMY not attack Allied Troops.

Were it Dover would the next three battles also be aircraft only?
Note: there is no 'aircraft only' scenario, it is an only German Core used are aircraft scenario,
and obviously an option since 'no airforce' trait would make it unwinnable.

You say it's obvious, but it was not an optional scenario in it's initial iteration. Only after the fact was this realized, and the scenario converted into an 'optional' mission. :P

So finally there will be Seelowe or the classic air battle ?

In the original main campaign Beta I noticed this as a problem at Dunkirk where sinking 10 ships was a main objective.
It was changed to a bonus for prestige, and additional British units at Paris if you didn't.

So yes the second time you see something it is very obvious.

This has me a bit worried. To maximize my positive general traits, I planned ahead to have denied air force and denied artillery for 1940. I captured enough (I hope!) Russian made artillery to last all of 1939 and 1940. Second, I bought extra fighters and a couple bf 110s and rotated them into some of the AO39 battles so they'd gain some experience. Since updates to both the Ju 87B and the bf109 E don't come until 1941 and I figured I can live with the He 111s, I can afford denied aircraft.

But now I am a little concerned...it depends on how the scenario are designed, but otherwise I would think I am still okay. 6 109s should be enough I would think.

The default army will not have 6 fighters so you will better off that way than those who don't import a large developed force.
Your dilemma is similar to the 'slow upgrade' trait.
If you built a larger force than you 'need' you should not have a problem.
For example at Ebro I used more fighters than in any battle before or since [in the AO series].

Whoa! So you haven't denied yourself planes or arty at all, then! Sly, sly fox......:-)

Awesome looking content, when can we look forward to release with a rough estimate?

Regards,
On Steam it gives the release date of December 10th.
It just shows "Coming Soon!" on the store page for the DLC for me. Where do you see a specific date?

Wow! Nobody ever seems to believe me...

I can't figure out how to put a screen shot into this response, but if you go to the Steam store page here

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1351 ... Civil_War/

Move your cursor above the panel that announces the AO40 DLC. You don't even have to click on it, and a pop-up will tell you that it's going to be released on December 10th. But if you do click on it, a larger pop up screen will appear that also says its release date under the title: "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is coming soon
The third chapter of the Axis Operations series will release on December 10."

Don't take it as a referendum on your personal credibility. I regard you as trustworthy. Imagine rather that I am like a child on November 25 who is told that "Christmas is a whole month away," and who tries to find reasons not to believe it. The potential of "Coming soon!" is more comforting than the hard reality of December 10 :)

I followed your instructions and see what you see. Thanks for explaining!

I hear you. I too felt the same thing and was saddened by the the far away date when I first saw it too. But that goes to show that we are never happy I suppose. I still am glad they announced it now as it's good to know the scenario list and a few details.

I now wish they'd post more screen shots in the meantime!

I was, too. I inferred from SCW and '39 that it took about a month to make a DLC of that quality. But I don't complain. I think this is a case where quality is much better than quantity. Waiting until Dec 10 for another very good DLC is just fine with me, if that's what it takes to deliver quality.
