How to purchase auxiliary units

Post by Axoid »

One of my traits is "Auxiliary Force", which give me additional auxiliary slots every battle. And when I hover over the hollowed-out tank (which shows my current/max auxiliary points), it states in there the free auxiliary points and mentions they are available to purchase this mission. But how the heck do I actually purchase these auxiliary units? When I go into the purchase screen, I don't see a way to pick core vs auxiliary.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

It should automatically switch to aux purchase units when you reached your maximum deployed core slots. The icon in the shop also changes then.

And when we don't reach max core, how to do?

Why would you want to buy aux units when you still got core slots left? Even if you're one slot short, you can easily fill that with some cheap 1 core slot units. As far as I know, you can't switch freely between core and aux units but I don't see that as an issue.

It's definitely a safety measure that units fill CORE slots before AUX slots.

I can only imagine the confusion of people buying AUX units by accident, and then complaining the game isn't properly carrying their CORE between missions as advertised.

Good point.

Thanks for the replies, I was short on my core units by 2 points. Once I filled that it switched to Aux.

Yes, we can easily buy auxiliaries in place of core units, as there are no warning.
