I have a question: if I correct the date of availability of a given unit or remove it from the unit.csv file, I understand that it will disappear from the map of a given scenario both for me and for AI,too...
Can I add another unit or several units for AI instead?
EX: Calais scn, I want to remove completely US super heavy tanks and Shooting Star jets and replace them by some Pershings and Mustangs...

Re: Technical question
The simplest is to edit the scenario and to change the units while keeping the same AI. It is necessary to verify that the unit does not make party of a specific trigger otherwise it is necessary to change the trigger (fortunately Bebro seems very orderly with triggers).

Re: Technical question
Not exactly Kondi, the "availability date" of units actually only affects the availability for the player to purchase those units. Preplaced units (yours or the enemy) won't "disappear" from maps.
But I'm not absolutely sure what'll happen if you delete the unit from the units.csv file completely...(?)
Re: Technical question
If it is just a really small number, you could go into the editor, and replace units on the map you don't want, but you need to be aware of some things:
- any new unit you place has to get assigned to the same AI team as the unit you removed has/had
- if you are changing units that are affected by triggers throughout the scn you could get unwanted effects
From the top of my head I think the P 80 is not present on-map at start, but spawned later by scripting- so you'd need to delete that specific trigger.
If you touch anything, better to do a backup the whole scn before. Otherwise you might need to reinstall if something goes wrong. Though with Steam might be enough to validate game files (not sure tho).
Bottom line - it's doable, but you need to check a bunch of things to be on the safe side. Always depends how much you change.

I plan to create/modify a historical German GC for the beginning, if I finally find some time, because for now I'm just threatening everyone around me that I will do it...
in most scenarios, it's enough to wisely modify the unit.csv file and specializations (I think about axis troops) but in "ahistorical" and "what... if" missions will also have to change a bit on the AI side
