Re: Cavalry
My words about missing German cavalry. It was standard as recon force in most German infantry divisions. It became very important in Russia due lack of fuel and bad terrain condition.
Re: Cavalry
Cavalry should be part of the OOB for most minor nations as well.
Trucks is also missing for a few minors, for instance Norway which has a heavy infantry that is hardly movable.

Re: Cavalry
I gave all Finnish and Norwish eh Norwegian inf units ski as movement type, because skiing is their national sport and a necessity for travelling cross-country during snowy weather.
Does this sound reasonable, Erik?
I know, such change will never make it to the vanilla game, but I like this change for myself.

I would prefer to give the Norwegians special ski units like the Finns, especially for use in the northern/arctic area.
BTW, I don't ski
Re: Cavalry
Erik. there is still the less-risky cross-country skiing for old bones!
Did that a couple of times in my past too. There must be like thousand tracks in your country to do that nicely.
