Disable weather? if not.... please???

I'm running Sanctus Reach on an old MkII Surface, and having a little bit of framerate issues. It's playable, but cursor movement is sluggish, and animations tend to slow down.

Seems to me, it would really help things if I could disable the rain. Is this possible?

I know it's a bit less cinematic, but I use the "over the shoulder" cam (awesome btw) a lot. I can do without weather

The weather would have a negligible effect on framerate. Turn off shadows for the largest framerate improvement.
