dumb question about FoG website

Post by Rattleshirt »

I love winter battles. Anything with snow I love for some reason. Heck, I'm probably going to make snowy bases for my medieval French if I can find even a shred of evidence that they were out when it may have snowed...

Does anyone where the picture on the main Field of Glory website is from? It's the fourth of the four changing pictures. Gotta get that Osprey book.

Thanks for humoring me.

If you like snow battles, why don't you do Alexander Nevsky? 8)

Briansnaffler, I'd love to do Nevsky. But, I'm basically playing atm against one opponent (we're building a table in his basement) who really really really wanted to do 100 Years War. So, I basically told him he could be British (he's from South Africa originally) and I'd be whatever made most sense as his opponent. Heck, it's his basement!

We're working out of Storm of Arrows, so maybe when a medieval book comes out covering Eastern Europe I'll get my chance at Nevsky.

JDM, thanks for the reference. Maybe I can convince my friend to do WotR as well as 100YW.
