Another left click mouse problem

Shortly after playing the first three tutorial scenarios I began to experience strange problems. I have now concluded that all my problems are related to when I left click, I have to click way to the left of where I would normally click. The best way to illustrate this is when giving orders. If I click on the first order I get the second, click on the second order I get the third. You get the picture. So to place the first order I need to click a similar distance to the left of the first order box to place it. One or two buttons seem ok but mostly its "to the left". Once I trained my brain I could play through a scenarion but its a bit taxing on the old grey cells. Move a unit, click to the left, didn't move, try again, got it. Try turnig a vehicle takes two or three attempts, slider bars are a little more difficult. Have not attempted to delete a message box yet.
If this is a bug I hope it gets resolved soon as I am really enjoying the game.

Do you have any controllers installed, like joypads or joysticks for example?

No nothing like that. I am using Windows 10 with a Logitech Wi Fi mouse, fairly ordinary set up.
The mouse works perfectly whith all the other games I have purchased from Steam its just Heroes of Normandie which I have a problem with.

Have resolved the problem.
I noticed that at the screen edge left and right bits seemed to be missing. Thought nothing of this until now. I seem to remember screen resolution may be the problem. I checked the small startup screen which had defaulted to 1024 x 768. My maximum resolution is 1680 x 1050. You can guess the rest, changed to my maximum resolution, problem solved. All buttons work as they should and I have a much better definition.
