Battle of Magnesia at Oxford

Post by bddbrown »

Hi,

I found some photos on my hard drive today of a battle we fought at the Oxford club on the 14th October 2007. No real battle report to go with the photos, although I have added comments with the photos as a running commentary which is nearly as good.

"The Selucids advance boldly...". I don't think Richard Collins uses any other tactics :!:

A good report. It flows well as a slideshow.

Nice approach with the slide show, it works very well. Will have to try it.

Big battle, how many points?

Boldly probably underestimates his agressive instincts

Enjoyed the slide show, did you do take similar pics of the Hittites and Egyptians ? If so would love to see them.

Afraid not. I forgot my camera!

On the plus side we were able to get through two games in the day.

I'll post the army lists we used for both games to the yahoo files area sometime.

Please do post the army lists, etc. I'm building Seleucids and Magnesia is one of the scenarios I definitely want to do, along with Panion and Raphia.
